Potholes
I know how much potholes cause misery for drivers and cyclists alike – they damage cars, are a significant hazard and can make travelling on our roads unpredictable and risky.
I was delighted with the Labour Government announced £1.6b for potholes. Each local authority in England can use the money to identify which roads are in most need of repair and deliver “immediate fixes”.
I’m launching my Pothole Taskforce to support local authorities to deliver on these promises, and help you pass on the worst offending streets.
