Working for You

It is such an immense privilege to have the opportunity to represent our area. As Cramlington and Killingworth’s Member of Parliament, my week is varied and fast paced.

The work ranges from championing the issues important to our area in Parliament, meeting with Ministers, casework and supporting individual constituents, community events, and hearing directly from residents.

In Parliament

Most weeks, MPs are required to be in Westminster between Monday and Thursday, speaking in debates, asking questions of Ministers, holding meetings with charities and groups, and raising the issues that are highlighted by constituents and are important to our local area.

Constituency Visits

When not in Westminster, usually on Fridays and at the weekend, I am working across the constituency, visiting local organisations and attending meetings and events.

These can be schools, local businesses, charities, community groups, residents’ groups and others. This allows me to hear directly from people about the issues they are experiencing, and to promote the fantastic work that is being done in our area.

Please do get in touch with me if you’d like to organise a visit or meeting.

Casework & Support

I have a committed and hardworking team based in the constituency, to help me in supporting residents as well as arranging surgeries and events.

If you have any issues that you wish for me to help with, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via e-mail emma.foody.mp@parliament.uk or via 0191 691 1587.
