Have your say on buses in Cramlington and Killingworth

In my recent priorities survey for Cramlington and Killingworth, one of the biggest issues raised was the accessibility of public transport and especially buses.
I know that buses are vital for so many people in our area to access employment, education and training, visiting friends and family, or for leisure. However too often I have heard how bus services are inaccessible and expensive, with services cancelled, delayed or simply not turning up or going where people need them to.
The Government have recently introduced the Bus Services Bill into Parliament and the North East Mayor has also pledged action in this area.
I want to hear from you about your experiences of bus services to ensure that I can feed into both of these discussions and ensure that our area is heard.
You can complete my survey whether you’re a regular bus user, occasionally use the bus or don’t use it at all – this will help understand what we want to see from our bus services. I will use your feedback to contact the bus operators, the North East Mayor and feed into the Government as part of discussions around the Bus Services Bill.

I look forward to hearing from you and your views.
